|Event||RBKC's Nour Festival of Arts|
|Date||21st Oct - 6th Nov 2016|
This year’s festival has now come to a close. For 17 glorious days, Nour has shone light on the best in contemporary arts and culture from the Middle East and North Africa, in venues across the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. This year’s programme featured 36 events and 84 individual performances, across 16 venues with 28 partners, with artists from 15 countries presenting their work across visual arts, music, poetry, theatre, film, dance, and literature. In addition, the festival’s broad and engaging Creative Learning Programme featured a series of exciting projects and activities from shadow puppetry to kite-making, Arabic typography to Arabian Nights.
If you attended one of Nour’s many events this year, we would love to hear about your experience, so please spare a minute or two to complete our online feedback form. Two winners will be randomly selected from all of the print and online surveys submissions, to be invited to attend the opening event of next year’s festival.
In the meantime, enjoy a visual reminder of this year’s wonders at Nour’s Instagram and feel free to share your own images from the festival using our hashtag #NourFestival or copying in @NourFestival.
We look forward to seeing you again for Nour 2017.
